hey guys, my fit is a 2008, i got a set of HID's, and i plugged it in directly into where the halogen light plug is. the hids did not come on. I installed HID on another FIT, the hids worked plug and play. So i put on a relay for the HIDs, the HIDs came on when i let go the handbrake, but when i switch the light two clicks for the low beam, the hids turn off. So the hids came on as my DRL's. now my foglights dont work. i put the halogens back in and took out the HIDs, the foglights still dont work. i checked the foglight fuse and it was fine. anybody kno whats going on?
why is my FIT different from other fits lol

and does anyone know how to turn on the foglights independently? without switching on the lowbeams to switch the fogs on?

 

theres another fuse box next to your engine, have you check that ? i cant think why a plug and play issue wouldnt work, other that the connetors are a different model from the fit your tried ?

 

well from factory you cant turn on the fogs without the headlights....sucks...if anyone knows how to resolve this id like to know...
