RSX seats in a Fit

You guys may have talked about this before, but does anyone know if the front seats off of an RSX are compatible with the Fit??

I am wondering about this as well. I have looked at E-bay extensively and found that good condition RSX seats can be had, with airbags, for about 400 bucks ( plus about 100 for shipping) The stock rails on the seats I have found look totally different from the Fit. I doubt that has to be a big issue however. If people can put Bride and Spoon racing seats and Recaros out of Civic Si's in the Fit the seats from the RSX shouldn't be too hard. The thing that attracts me is the fact that they have HEATERS and the side airbags should be capable of being wired into the Fits SRS system. Safety, comfort, heaters and they adjust for seat angle too Whats not to like?

For the savings over buying a set of real Brides I can re-upholster (sp?) them in fake suede to match my interior! And at least the leather is black right? I mean it could be worse. There is a auto interior place right up the road from me I think I'll stop in and ask them what they would charge to recover the RSX seats for me...

hmm. i beleive they come in leather and clothe. although the leather is sick though! i was considering regular 06+ civic seats but they have like a funny color/texture. looks like some one threw the seat in a sand box. LOL

well you dont have to buy bride seats. there are other seats. buddy club and status will not hurt your pocket if you are looking into getting aftermarket.

When I had my RSX I found those seats so uncomfortable! If I was going to put leather up front it would be s2000 seats.

It sounds like you would need to do some rail modification for them to work, but not sure.

I like how the leather RSX seats look, and also the adjustability (some are heated, I like that too!!!), but I've never sat in them for extended driving so not sure how comfortable they would be (as mentioned above).

What I'm noticing is that some people get the Mugen leather seat covers (only avail on the GD3's at the moment), and they look hot!!! I've seen them on japanparts, or jdmland for around $1200 or so. Others overseas are getting custom leather upholstery which looks very similiar to the Mugen ones.
Here's a pic from the GE8 forum from this thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...zz-fit-rs.html

You can also check https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...at-covers.html but I believe those are the knock offs. They still look good.

Getting a custom upholstery shop to do this, or even the Mugen covers will definitely cost more than the RSX seat swap, but atleast it will match front and rear seats, and even door panels (if you get them done too).

I was actually thinking of getting the Webasto Seat Vent system, and then getting them custom upholstered with the same leather as above, depending on the $$$$... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...on-system.html
