Bought a used 2007 Sports. Would a full size spare able to fit into the compact space?

A full size spare will not fit in the compact spare compartment.

 

Back to back conflicting answers. Do you own a tape measure? I know it's cold outside, but it shouldn't take five minutes to measure the diameter and width of the tire, then measure the space where the spare fits.

 

Maybe cus one is USDM and other isnt?

 

I tried to put a stock wheel in the well after getting aftermarket and it would not fit. The bolt didn't fit and the carpet wouldn't close.

You might be able to get a base wheel in there.

 

I have a EUDM Jazz and the stock 195x65/14" wheel did fit into the spare well. But my new 205x40/16" does not fit (too wide).

So the answer is:
Depending on the wheelsize, a spare tire does fit into the spare compartment.
