You tried ebay?
And if your looking for someone to scan in the manual you need to know its 2.25" thick and that would be a lot of scanning even on my automated one. I'd have to charge you at least 6 hours labor (scan one page at a time in a book) and that is a lot more more ($900) than the cost of buying one.

Is the manual for 08 only or cover 07 and 08.

If its covers 07 I am in for 20 bucks

It has a few additional things that do not apply to the 07 (tpms is one that i can think of). Other than that it should all be the same. I am in for $20 as well. Granted I would like to get the cost down some more (more people).

PMed! I hope it can be well organized. I would hate to have 1000 pages with no section divisions.

I think section divisions will have to be added manually, however, I was playing around with running the pdf through our OCR cluster at work so at the very least it would be searchable.

i believe OCRs get very messy when you run into charts and diagrams and things like that.

i'm pretty sure you can add a links into the table of contents so when you click on the section you want it'll take you right to it within the pdf. unfortunately this is only if the pdf is vector information, whereas a scan would be raster.

The OCR text would be underlaid the original image so even though the ocr wouldn't be perfect you could still search and likely find printed words and have the software highlight the relevant portion of the image.
