Being a new Fit owner, and my first Honda, does anyone know if and where one might find an electronic copy of the service manual? Say like in, PDF format? Did the 07/08 Fit guys have one for their cars?

For my Evo, a few months after they were released, service manuals were all over the web in PDF format for it. I live and die by that thing. I bought the physical service manual from Mitsubishi for my eclipse before that too. It would be nice to have one for the Fit too if (lol... no, when) I start tearing it apart.

Any one have any input? I could always go to the dealership and buy it, which im not opposed to doing, but it is extremely nice to have it in an electronic format. Does Honda sale it in electronic form? Likely not.

I've been looking too. I haven't found any .pdf either.

I have checked at a local dealer for the "physical" service manual and it's not available yet (He told me to check back in ~3 weeks). Pricing wasn't even available.

 

I've found content for one in electronic format for the ESM (electronic service manual) software for an 08, but I can't find a free version of the ESM software that runs the content. Keep looking. The price I've seen on the new service manual for 08s was ~$120 for the printed version w/ CD-ROM.

 

When/if dealers have the print version, it will be printed by Helm Inc. Dealers did not carry any print versions for the '07s or '08s. The Helm Fit Service manuals will not be available until March of '09.

I am looking for a service manual for the 2009 Honda Fit. Helm, the publisher of the official manuals in the US, originally set a date for release on March 23rd, 2009. Now every day that I check their website they move back the release date one day. As of today it's slated for release on April 5th. I'm getting tired of waiting, plus at $125 it's not exactly bargain priced. Does anyone know of an electronic version floating around?

I have not come across an electronic version we could share. Another option you have is to buy a 3 day ($10), 30 day ($50), or 365 day ($350) subscription to the Helm Inc. service manual OSI online content here:
