2008 MT E Brake Boot

Hey,

My ebrake boot has broken for the second time right where it hinges. Anyone else have this problem?

never heard of this happening. though i live in southern california where we don't really get winter. but i guess you could replace it with a leather e-brake boot.

are you talking about the little tab at the bottom of the ebrake lever? Seems like alot of fit owners in the colder states get that problem.

wait for warmer weather before you replace it or it will just break again.
should be under warranty too.

Yeah, mine broke when my car was like 8 months old, but I never did anything about it. I will roll 80k tomorrow, so I doubt the dealer will do anything under warranty now.
