jdm rear conversion

jdm rear conversion

i know that this probly might already have been written on before but i cant seem to find it. I got rear ended this weekend and have decided to go fully jdm back. Luckly the lights were not harmed. What do i need besides a rebar in the back. Please help me find a site to order the bumber and everything i will need to get the awsome jdm rear end.

I think all you need to do is remove the USDM rear crash bar and then get a JDM bumper. Though I think if oyu get rear ended again with out the crash bar it will realy F-up your car.

Dam that would really suck if I get rear ended again, but then i wouldnt mind if i had the jdm rear end. I just need to know where to get it from and what i have to do to get it put on.

yeah i want a jdm rear too but i am seriously afraid to do it since it won't meet US crash specs.

You could always add the J's monoque bar it can act like a crash bar.

but all you need is bumper, remove USDM crash bar, then bolt up.

modify your usdm rear rebar

take a couple inches off the mounts and re weld back on

you need a rear crashbar. i heard the only problem would be if you get in a slow speed crash there is a good chance your hatch will get damaged too and sometimes destroy the rear window
