I got all season floor mats, tint, then cargo tray as necessary items.

First actual "mod" was HID's.

If you don't take into acount the sport styling the dealer mounted on the car before I got it, the next thing I did was tint. Then swaping the OEM Stereo with a new NAV unit, after that I painted the manifoil cover.

Still needed som change so I got som new parts; new grille, rear hatch garnish and new rear lights.

Last thing I have done is new summer wheels and tires, and at the same time swapping the old winter wheels (steel) with the old summer alu wheels. So now I have alu on both summer and winter tires.

To-Do-list: maybe lowering it. I will, after getting the summer tires on in a few weeks (after snow has gone), try out the lowering with some clamps on the springs ment for this. I want to see how much I can lower it before it comes unpractical and how much I need for it too look good.

After that I don't now what I want to do.
I would like some new seat covers. Maybe some engine or exhaust parts, but that would be the last thing I do. I do like the engine quiet like it is now and it has enough power for normal driving.

PS! Does the little Mugen Fit model on the dashboard count as an upgrade?

The things that matter most:
1. wheels and tires, roughly $650 total - yes, I'm cheap, Clark Howard is a free spender by comparison. I buy by specifications, not looks. Widening track and vastly improved tires alone are reasons to do those first. Make sure offset is 42 to 45 mm.
2. And suspension: de-activating front bar on '08 improved handling enormously. Free, except for the testing gas and meals.
Adding Monroe AirLift rear shocks weren't free (less than $100) finished the job.

Dozens of hours on street, interstate, and track have seen no need for anything further, like lowerering The one we tested was a hindeance, not a help.

Not really considered an upgrade, but I just bought the OEM carpet floor mats from handaaccessories.com. Although the all-weather's are more functional, I think the carpet ones match better with the interior. I called my local dealer just for giggles and they quoted me a price of $112.00!?!?!
I got them for half that.

I've managed to scrape my exhaust, and rip the plastic support under the front bumper half-way off.

First mod was Wheels!

First mod? A USB-capable Pioneer 1-DIN HU. The stock Kenwood refused to play CDs due to a faulty laser pickup.

First performance mod? Wheels and tires. Haven't followed them up with any other mods yet as I've opted to modify my driving skills

Technically the first mod I had were all season floor mats which I talked the dealer to throw in when I originally bought my fit. First real mod was a carbon fiber hood, then a Fujita short ram air intake, and then window visors. Next will probably be a cf front lip and some kind of gramlight wheels.
