Wow, how do you come to the conclusion that I didn't do that? It's actually exactly what I did. I came home parked in my driveway on a decline like already mentioned, and installed it the next morning. Don't assume I installed something the wrong way. There are other people who had the same thing happen.

It's already a cheap intake, I have no idea why they complicated things further by replacing the coolant hose--which is completely unnecessary and purely aesthetic, intakes with better gains don't mess with it!

So, in summary:

If you are going to be cheap and replace things that don't even need to be, be prepared to leak coolant.

actually, its not a big deal with the fujita intakes. I didnt know you had to replace the coolant line for the SRI but i had the CAI so i had to replace the line for that. When I loss coolant and got the "running water" noise, I tried searching for help on the forum and found many threads about it(all fujita intake owners). Losing coolant was unavoidable with this intake. Its happened to many people. All you gota do is get the air out of the system and your good to go. No ones at fault for losing the coolant, unless you want to blame fujita. LOL. But had nothing to do with how you installed it. =]

Dude, we already know your stance on the subject. You think Fujita's intale is a POS, we get it. You get what you pay for, we get that too. Posting the same thing time after time isn't going to change my outlook on the intake I bought. You've stated your opinion over and over again. If it's that bad of an intake in your opinion then why even post here? I never said that losing coolant pissed me off or made me extremely upset. The question at hand was what to do after it happened. I fixed the issue, so it's not a big deal. Not trying to be disrespectful here, just sayin man.

Dude, don't get all emo on me...

It's just plain silly that this issue could have been completely avoided if Fujita cared a little more about function rather than aesthetics.

Have a cookie and go drive your car:

I don't want you to think that I was flaming you or accusing you of doing something wrong. I guess I can see how you would be defensive with all of the negative post you are getting.... I went through weeks of the same thing for posting on another guys thread about a product that I used on my car. My son went through the same thing at an up scale private school over the brand of athletic shoes he wore...... Not everyone here is so immature to buy into abusing someone over what product they choose to purchase, But I know from experience that it seems that way at times..... I recently rerouted the same hose and lost less than a table spoon of coolant. I must have been lucky or something.

Dude it's an air intake on a 1.5 liter; you act like you're investing in a 401k. The whole damn thing is purely aesthetic. Get off your high horse, no one in this thread cares that you spent $350 on your carbon fiber tube.

Intake on a fit is for Aural Pleasure, an NA fit is not a major power maker. It's a fuel miser, through and through. Even a cheapo no name intake would add a lil hp. The WeaponR intake is probably best bang for the buck, and fits best. But seeing how little the dyno gains were for any aftermarket, that's why I hacked my OEM airbox, even more affordable, does the same thing(makes it sound deep/throaty and lets a lil more air through).

Any swish noise is air bubbles in heater core, and happens on almost any brand car if you have bled the coolant system, or coolant bypass. Top n Burp is surefire way to get rid of it. $350 is much better spent on a sway bar and some drop springs. The fit will never be a straightline monster, but for a few bucks you can really help the already good handling ability and low center of gravity.

As for intakes, the computer will learn any brand intake over time and adjust fuel trim automatically.

I had the intake on for a week and the throttle really didn't change. As soon as I did the Idle relearn, it changed dramatically.
