Color caring
Hi, the name's Christopher from Indonesia
and I'm the owner of GD3 Honda Jazz
with black color.
Actually, it's not really mine, but it's my father's. Since he bought a used 3 series BMW, I'm sort of keeping it for myself X) since I'm the one who took good care of it.
Black color is a real pain to be kept clean, especially when there is hair scratch which is very visible on dark colors. I want to ask all of you, seniors in this web, on how to take good care of the color (mine is called Nighthawk Black pearl- sort of black with blue flakes on it)
Most of the car was scratched by my father and there is absolutely no dents (small ones, few on the left front door), and I was thinking to get it to an body repair and get the paint job to restore it.

you'll need to polish it out. if the swirls are too deep you may need to get it repainted, but for the time being see if you can find a detailer in your area and have them polish it out.
you can also try this yourself with the right tools, such as a random orbital buffer, pads, polishes, etc. but it can become a black hole in your wallet. hahaha.
glaze + wax will definitely help hide some of it.

I just recently ussed this 3M polish to take out all the swirl marks and tiny scratches. It took me about 6 hours to wash, polish and wax the car by hand. I wish I would have taken a before and after shot but forgot.
