Thumbs up

i've owned my Fit for two years and i'll be at 40k by the end of this week

the only major problem i've had was some rattling in the driver's side wheel well from my pro-c install. kenchan guidance helped me fix that

thats pretty good as far as issues go.

as for me i have had that weird eps freeze up 3 times, but turning her on then off clears it up.

that and there was a time where my vent fan switch was not re-circulating and i dunno why. it just stopped and then went back to normal after a day.

I just turned 60,000 on mine. Only problem i had was the coilpacks went bad, and a faulty air filter and needed new plugs becuase of it. Otherwise she looks and runs good as new (knock on wood)

80,000 miles so far. One ac condensor, new tires, tranny flush, kn filter, vapor seal on driver door causing leak which ruined the floor mats, and broken fog lights.

Now there is a noise that sounds very expensive and possibly the auto trans. Fluid change did not make it go away so in for warranty check up this week.

extended warranties are a great idea especially for a first year car.

Congrads to all you Fit owners that are near or over the 100,000 miles mark. I only have 12,000 on my 2007 but I am hoping to keep the car
on the road for many more years to come.

My problem might actually be the brakes. I test drove the wife's car in a parking lot and really got a good listen to the problem. Intermittent grinding, scraping particularly on right turns lead me to pull that tire and spin it and sure enough it was the brakes. Time to do another fit mod.

Have an 07 with 56K about on it right now. I'm the second owner so I don't know what was done. Hopefully I have no issues.

112K since May 06. since then, I've done the following:

-Air filter and oil changes on schedule
-Brakes at 25k, again at 80k and 110k, (have 2 sets of front rotors I swap out)
-Carpet on drivers side wore out after 30k near gas pedal and dead pedal area, Honda would not warranty it so I left it. Installed aftermarket dead pedal. Recommend it highly.
-Had a front end collision at 47K, no frame damage. Repaired by Honda dealership, good job.
-Rough idle problem starting at 40K, progressed to BAD sputtering problem at 100k. changed plugs and everything else except coil packs, Honda says they dunno what the problem is. Problem is they don't have any coil packs ANYWHERE to test with, so naturally they won't admit that their coil packs SUCK.
-Since idle problem started gas mileage has been below 27 MPG consistently

I love my car but I should be able to just buy a set of plug wires for $50-$75 instead of having to replace 4 coil packs at $85 EACH. This design is not to my liking.

Only 3 sets of tires at 132K? I just put my 3rd set on at 62K miles. Or was that 132,000km?

I'm about to hit 72k on mine. Had it since, Oct 13, 2007, (it wasa special day.) Wore a hole on the carpet, shift knob fell apart & somebody kicked my car a couple of months after I bought it, (got it fixed & did the punk's girl anyways just for that.) I still haven't changed the pads on it yet. Changed the A/C switch. Other than that, it's awesome.

67000 on mine and I've owned it since new. I just picked it up from the dealer last night after having the EPS module replaced. The car sat at the dealer for two weeks because that's how long it took me to convince Honda to provide some goodwill assistance. I ended up paying $288.00 for the repair. Considering how long these cars have been around, There are way to many problems. I never experienced one unexpected problem on the last five Honda's that I've owned. The brands reliability is not what it used to be.
