i will remember that. just cause it is crazy fast doesnt mean im going to use it all. i still managed to get 48mpg riding to work last week. i got pulled over though and the cop told me that my tattoo's were very fitting. it says hold fast written on each of my fore arms.... i was let off with a warning.

im still new to bikes too. gotta take some racing schools to really learn how to ride.

After reading this thread, maybe you should get stiffer hangers

could it be that the J's b-pipe were originally designed for the JDM Fits??

and bikes are useless in winter months

could be, but i doubt it. the only difference i could see being the cause of that is that the jdm fits have stiffer engine mounts, but i am running 85A innovative mounts, so i doubt it.

and you speak the truth. nothing more miserable than riding a motorcycle in the cold rain. ive pulled over at times to warm my hands on the engine.

I can see how that would help. When I had my 240sx, my catback had some leaks at the hangers/flanges. It was shitty, I just bought a new catback instead of trying to fix it.

ever wonder why the sr-71 blackbird was made out of Ti?

that is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what happened.

if the engine torqued hard and the hangers were stiffer, then there would be more bending at the exhaust

think about it

if there were no hangers (kinda like infinitely soft hangers) the exhaust would move with the engine torque and there would be NO FLEX in the exhaust system)

if the exhaust hangers were stiffer how would it move with the movement of the engine?
