Drives sluggish when cold.

Is it just me or does it seem that the A/T on a GD3 doesn't shift so well in the first couple minutes of driving it? The car just has an overall sluggish feeling when first getting in, in the morning. Even when the cold temp sensor light goes out it still seems this way until it gets warmed up a bit. It's not even that cold yet where I live.

How do these cars drive in the Winter? My first winter with it is coming up.

Wow, that's EXACTLY what it seems like, you described it perfectly. Even when it's hot outside in the morning, that's the way it seems.

that's normal. your engine runs on a closed loop map during cold start so the output parameter is different resulting in different shift pattern. same goes for the MT cars...it's a tad tricky to shift smoothly at cold starts.

the GE did perfectly well in the -5F temps last winter so im sure you'll do fine...unless you're in like -40F like in canada. hahaha.

Usually just let the car warm up before I head off... gives time to warm up the engine rather than rushing it. Feels happier that way =]

Also know that the cold temp sensor light turns off at 125F, which means it still has a ways to go before hitting operating temperature.
