transmission click?

transmission click?

does anyone hear a CLICK when you dowshift into the next gear, not every time but most of the time when i let the clutch back in it makes a kinda loud click sound....

When I am going down a slight incline and put my AT in drive my transmission clicks! I found the cure: don't keep my window down! lol
You might want to check out the dealer...

You might want to check out the dealer...
Mine has been doing that since I bought it in the dealer. I bought it used with 5k miles. Dont know if its normal on AT Fits (Fit 07)

Thats the gear lash being taken up. There is a specified amount of play between each gear, and when the transmission changes loading conditions (IE: forward acceleration to overrun deceleration), the gears will "click" against eachother. Nothing to worry about.
