My fit is sitting on Tanabe GF210s and for a while, 10k miles, everything was fine.

Not till recently, every time i go over a speed bump or any bump at all on the freeway, the springs/shocks? idk something back there makes a wierd sound like a metal bouncing sound.

Has anyone experienced this before? I haven't got the chance to check it out, soo i usually just put the music louder so it doesn't bother me.

any help?

 

Check and make sure the rubber mounts for the rear springs are mounted correctly.

 

if it's not the springs check to make sure the nuts for your shocks haven't come loose - i've had that happen to me a few times in my crx when i had a strut bar, i needed to re-torque it every other month just to make sure it's not loose.

if its not that, check your spare tire to make sure it's locked in place and/or your scissor jack isn't banging around. i had this happen to me recently and thought my shocks/springs were going to fall off on the fwy. it ended up being my scissor jack bumping around cause it hadn't been secured

 

oh god, i have NOT thought about the spare!!! we'll see tomorrow morning haha
