I had a similar problem when I installed my in-dash. Just make sure the harness plugs are all plugged in (2 or 3 I think). Worst case scenario is those 3 wires/tubes that are connected to the 3 HVAC knobs (blue/orange/purple) are not seated correct. Those 3 were ridiculous to take off and put back on. Hope this helps at least a little. Good luck!

Yeah I was doing my in-dash stereo at my friends house and while I was leaving, I noticed that none of the HVAC controls lit up or worked. We tore apart the dash the dash the next morning and found that we missed one of the plugs for the HVAC controls and also one of those tube/wires wasn't hooked in properly. A set of needle-nose pliers work really well to wrestle the hook on the wire into the slot on the back of the knobs.
