07 08 HONDA FIT JAZZ LED MIRROR COVER+PUDDLE LIGHT 2007 on eBay.ca (item 280413377425 end time 18-Feb-10 22:08:31 EST)

 

looks pretty good.
i'm guessing it's the same format as the JDM mirror covers...just ALOT cheaper!
wiring should be pretty easy to figure out

and how hard would it be to take apart the oem mirrors

 

from what i know..you gotta remove the door panel to access the nuts and bolts that hold the side mirrors in place.

 

removing them isnt the problem

taking apart the mirrors swapping the base and the motors is

 

its easy, i replaced my mirror shell once, but its easier if u got a pin tool to remove the wires from the connector

 

wow that's really interesteing! I might have to pick this up to do a writeup!

I am intrested in this.
The only damper is: I checked with a body shop and got a quote of $150 to paint both the covers storm silver (NH642M) to matck my body color.
Does any one know where to get these painted at a better cost?
