You can go to bernadi parts for OEM fogs, but the are expensive as heck. I think its a little over $212 without shipping for a Vivid Blue Pearl fog light (they all come with the car colored housing).

You could order either the Honda Fit Base accessory fogs (2nd down) or Zeta Products' fogs (I don't know if they use the same bulbs and connections)and sell the other light as well as its harness.

And finally, you could of course get used lights from a member here. Whatever you do just be sure to get some fog light lens covers like Lamin-x to prevent this from happening again.

I was not able to find a way to replace just the cover, You may as well bite the bullet and buy the assembly from Honda. Try Majestic Honda and see if the price works out better with shipping. It's a good opportunity to remove that side and the other and spray paint the body-colored housings black. Really makes a nice difference.

mine cracked within the first 1000 miles of owning the Fit. Bought some LaminX vinyl film and covered it. No problem ever since. That film is pretty thick and will also serve as decent protection too.

That seems like a good idea - where did you happen to get the LamineX?

I've just got the Lamin-X clear films (from their site: lamin-x.com), gonna install it right now.

I got one single crack on my left side fog light cover. I gonna install on both to prevent future damages (hopefully...they're pretty thick though)

I still have the films. I got both clear and yellow. And mine is a protective FILM not a protective TINT. there IS a difference! Some are as thin as a piece of paper! Mine is .30mm thick + it's precut + there are instructions included step by step + there is a lifetime warranty on it burning or bubbling.

Yea the film I have is super thick. My buddy ended up buying the paper thin tinted film after I told him to go with the thicker ones and his fog light cracked the next day.

I just recently had to replace one of my foglights. I looked every where for the just the lamp cover. Turns out it's a sealed unit.

As for the base model accesory kit, the lamps are differnt shape.

You either have to bite the big one and buy the entire hosing (bezel and all) or find someone who has what you need.

Hopefully a parts company starts making the sealed unit cheaper because Honda is stealing from their customers.

Let me get this straight. I've got a 2008 fit sport. I was hoping to just buy some of the fog light kits off of ebay but it sounds like they won't work. Of course the description is vague, and if you open it up to look it over you get hit with a 20% fee upon return. Sounds like a pretty slick way to make money.

2006 2007 2008 HONDA FIT OEM FOGLIGHTS FOG LIGHTS LAMPS : eBay Motors (item 290417466310 end time Apr-22-10 14:11:34 PDT)
Or
2006-2007 HONDA FIT JDM OEM CLEAR FOG LIGHTS FOGLIGHTS : eBay Motors (item 300417799140 end time Apr-21-10 13:51:55 PDT)

Can someone tell me why I couldn't just take the lamps out of these models and put them in my fit sport? seems like it should work.

Seriously. I even contacted the company selling them. They, of course, don't know if they will work on the Sport. So, I then sent them a message asking if I could order the fog lights and return them if they don't work without the return fee. We'll see what they say.

Hey gsrek, I'll order them and try to install the lamps if you'll split the return fee if, in the more than likely scenario, they don't work on the Sport.
