Should I buy this Fit?

Hi everyone, I'm new. I just found a 07 Fit sport with 63,000 miles...car looks great, seems mechanically sound and tight. Should I be concerned with that mileage-looks new? It's an AT car. One owner. Anything I should look for? What should I pay?

Any help would be great...Thanks!

The AT ain't bad, I only wish I could have scored one though with a manual tranny. Although I can't answer your question without you throwing in the asking price for it.

That's more than I would spend on it sticker price for a 10 is 15,000 so that's three years old and has almost doubled the factory warriente it's up to u but I'd try to get it down lower but I'm also I cheap person lol

I checked out the blue book value for a Fit Sport in Miami with 63K on it purchased from a dealer in excellent condition it's $13,465. That sounds kind of high to me since the dealer I just bought my 2007 Fit Sport with 35,900 miles wanted $13,500 for it. So my thought is if this Fit you're looking at is in excellent condition $11,360 isn't a bad deal, depending on its condition. You can also do comparison shopping though. Fits were in short supply when I bought mine this February.

Hey thanks! It is in awesome shape. Conflicted because of the mileage but you would never know it by looking at it or driving it. It is at a Honda dealer, I would think they could get me the service history. They are so hard to find used here.

I guess it's not easy to find used Fits, there wasn't many to choose from in my parts either. Along with the service history, have them pull a Carfax report too.

Yea that maybe a little high for the milage, but if they are highway mile with 3-5k oil/filter changes there will be only minor engine wear . I have an 08 A/T and love it with the paddle shifters and in S mode it shifts like a man. just quicker

Sorry to troll, but for a little bit more you could get yourself a 2009 Fit Sport manual with Navigation and 9000 miles on the clock. Not to mention the remainder of a great warranty. It also appears that your in florida, I am located in Orlando. Take a look at my post.

I just got a 2008 honda fit sport manual transmission ( i looked for a m/t) Storm Silver with just 19,000 miles on it for $11,500. I think I got a great deal! I think for what you are looking for you should not pay more than $12,000 (for an 07/08 fit sport), Jaydubz has a nice fit sport! if you want a newer fit. I chose the 08 to save some money. Good luck!
I forgot to say I bought from an individual, there is no way to get a good deal from the dealer. They will not give you a good deal. Buy from an individual.

an '08 with 63,000 miles on it? personally i would keep looking around.
i was never one to buy a car from the owner only because you never know how he drove it.
the first thing you wanna do it get the VIN number and go to Carfax.com to make sure it is accident free. and if you know any reliable mechanic, bring it in BEFORE you buy it.
or find the nearest Honda dealer and explain to them that you wanna buy this car and have them do a COMPLETE inspection on everything: the engine, suspension, and i mean everything...
you don't wanna have to buy a car for $11,360 and then find out few months later that there are going to be thousands more in repairs

Wow! Are you saying you get a better idea how the original owner drove it by buying a used car from a dealer?? I would think a personal contact with the owner would give you a much better idea than hearing a used car salesmans pitch.

Agreed. If you meet the owner and it's some 70 year old guy who just retired, doesn't need to commute 40+ miles a day anymore, and wants to use his old Caddy as a DD, I'd be pretty damn comfortable buying from him.

On the other hand, if it was some 17 year old kid who "Wanted something faster," I'd be very leery about it.
