why no armrest for the driver or body side molding?

i LOVE my Fit Sport, but i really wish there was an armrest for the driver like the one i had in my 2003 Civic.
does anyone know where i can buy one without having to go on E-bay and purchasing one from Hong Kong? i did that and he sent me an armrest for a 2009 Honda Fit..not for the '07-'08 model years.
and i really would like to get some body side molding put on...i have like 2 small dings on each of my front doors from idiots parking to close and opening their doors too hard.
i know the dealership has the side molding for the new Fit...but not my '08 model

I don't know about the arm rest but wouldn't the body side molding for the 09 work?

I've found body side moldings to be near useless with the other cars I had that came equipped with them. Choosing your parking space wisely is about the only way around somebody hitting you with their door. It's tricky out there. I know I'm real careful about not banging my door into other cars. I still can't forget how years ago I was opening my door and then a strong wind decided to rip the door out of my hand and bash it into the car next to me. I don't believe there was any damage. None the less I still can't forget that.

X2 get your self the JDM armrest. It gives you some nice storage space plus one more cup holder, for the rear passengers

There are some good deals on eBay for the armrest. It helps to know the new Fits were out in Japan in '08 so that's probably where your mistake came from with getting the wrong part.

yeah i am going to check E-bay again and going to look into the JDM center console. i think that is the one where the armrest is connected to the center console and has to be taken out and then replaced.
the armrest i was sent, the seller said that it was for 2007-2008 USA model years..so he just got it wrong..no big deal

hey guys thanks for all the help...
i plan on driving down to Key West next month and it is only a 3.5 hour drive, it will be so much more comfortable with an armrest.
BTW, do you know the Honda logo decal that is white and is put on the back windshield? it's usually about 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide?
i can't seem to find any of those anywhere!!!

you can always go to a place where they make decals like at the mall or some random stand/store. show them what you want and they'll cut it out for you
