@solbrothers... my front end is clunky as well... haven't had time to strip down and check all the linkage... so, now it sits nicely in my carport.. don't dare to drive it that way... fear it may become worse...

 

Happy to see my eBay gambling was worth it. I found a JDM Spec body kit set auctioned at eBay-germany. The local Honda dealer clearly didn't know what they had listed for the auction. It was listed as just some old 1 gen stuff, they had in the warehouse... I asked if they're willing to ship to Finland. The results are here.

I scored a brand new full genuine Modulo Honda Custom Performance GD1 -kit for my EDM Jazz/Fit. It has everything included, all the bits & bobs to mount this kit. The kit is quite a rare find. It's painted Ice Blue (wing Blue Sensation Pearl), so it needs a new paint (Milano Red R81) to match my Fit.

My friend has a body shop & paint booth so it's taken care soon. This should be a great "winter" bodykit for the car, as I've got an different kind of bodykit for the summer




The quality is just superb. There's about 50 little clips & mounting brackets included.

I think I should move to a country where I can drive a Fit/Jazz that isn't screwed up with USDM required safety crap and big goofy front and rear bumpers..... Your car makes what we get over here look like garbage barges....

You know you can remove the front and rear crash bars and throw JDM kit on it and they only diff is that if your insurance co finds out they wont cover damage to you r car in a crash...so basically liability coverage

 

I received my Buddy Club coil overs today so I can raise the front end up some now... I am pretty sure I'll be able to use my Swift springs with them. I'll see what the springs that came with them feel like first.

I'm pretty sure lowering springs on coilovers are quite a no-no.

Did you spray them w/ the tire on? if so what did ya use on the rubber? Clean edge, Nice job and if B can't tell if they're the real deal they're either the deal or a really good K.O.

I went to Wal-Mart to have some used tires mounted on some spare wheels. When I saw the tires in day light I decided to have 205-50-16" Goodyear Authority tires mounted on the wheels.. They are the same thing as Goodyear GT high performance all season V rated tires. My car has never had a quieter more comfortable ride, off line traction and wallowed as much when executing quick maneuvers... The offset on the wheels is causing all kinds of scraping of the tires on the inside of the fenders.... The flush fit, stance crowd would love the look...... The redneck boys and girls around here are smart enough to see that not having enough clearance between the fender well and tire is going to cause problems... I'll have to get some wheels with a more practical offset and lighter weight to put these tires on. In the mean time I'll have chunkylover roll the fender wells... The tires are very nice for someone that wants a civilized ride,long life and good traction... I'll be getting around to installing the coil overs as soon as The big ole redneck kid down the road gets up here... The kid is huge and has a different little girl following him around every time I seem him ... A bunch of them were walking off into the woods last night to check their hog traps....
