Especially when that car still has .9x lateral G capability.
That's hard core DSM! Afraid I'd end up swallowing my dentures, soiling my Depends and don't know if my bionic pacemaker can take the G's... All in jest of course... I'm still for the twisties and enjoying the view. ;-)

Used it to pick up some tools for work... and ended up picking up a couple of Craftman's tool boxes that were on sale for a darn good price!

DSC_8096.jpg?t=1329613788

The guy who cashed my uncle and I out was skeptical about loading them up. Asking if they'd fit inside in a bit of a questionable tone of voice. We scooted the front seats forward, dropped the rear, removed the cargo cover and plopped them right in with plenty of room for us in the front. Haha! Also picked up some groceries afterwards too, with the Tire Rack Motorsports C1s I didn't have to worry about tire rub like I did with the old Konig Quizzes.

Here are a shot of the wheels. I don't think I've seen another Fit on the forums with them yet.

I think I'm going to check out Sears on line... I need some good tool boxes, mine are screwed all up from a fire in 1987...

ACTUALLY, that's where I picked mine up. The Sear's at least down here are having a sale on all their tools until the 22nd I think of this month.

The Sears parking lot is where all of the guys around here that have hot cars hang out on Saturday nights.. As usual I forgot to make it again.. It's crazy man... I go up there and these kids get on their phones and all of these other cars show up and guys are all over my car wanting to look under the hood, taking pictures and telling the guys with severe drops, stickers, big heavy wheels and wide tires that they should race the old man.. I lit up the front tires in 1st and 2nd gear once and they all went crazy... I told one guy about DSMs Eclipse and he sold his Golf and got one and started going crazy with it... He drove up here one day and took me for a ride topping 140 on a Farm road.. Now I'm feeling bad about not going tonight... There is something in Houston next month they want me to go to with them.. It's called 2K something or other... If I can get some stuff done I need to finish on my car I might go... The Sears store here is a little one so I'll probably have to go to Tyler to get tool boxes and some more tools... I drop things under the hood and never find them.. One of the guys taking pictures handed me a screwdriver he found when I was up there in town...

Bolt on exhaust

Added the Vibrant axle-back today. Nice stainless, bright shine. I like that it has a more reserved tone and volume than the wilder performance/racing systems. Also, it looks much better than the base muffler which was so flaccid with that down-turned tip.

Heres a link to my official FA5 civic Si-dan build thread. Still a work in progress but its gonna get there soon.

BTW it would really help alot if this HKS axleback was gone out the door. Ima get it pkgd up and get a shipping estimate but im thinking of dropping it to $200 shipped.

Installed my T1R shifter. Not gonna lie. It was kind of a bitch, but feels awesome.

Still gotta install my Mugen front strut bar and Progress rear sway bar that I'm currently using as a foot stool in my living room.
