Went to CL'z Finest Charity Show - first year I have not shown since 2009 but since I was sponsoring a Best Honda trophy could not be in the show. Did the trophy in memory of my sister who passed away and the best Honda there was the 2005 Honda Accord. I still had the Fit all pretty and shiny - one more show and Sippy is permanently retired from car shows.

Still not sure if I'm feeling these wheels yet... Still needs a lot of work and a new lip!

your wheels will "pop" more once you are lowered some. I think they have potential!

I know! It really needs to be dropped. Haha. I'm never going flush again though.

Got out my security bit set, took off the seat belt latch holding the passenger's seat hostage, pulled that out. Finished cutting out the failed sections of foam behind the pedals. I don't know what Honda used for this, but it is crap, it just snaps, I dunno if it was flexible when they put it in or what. There are pieces broken on the passenger side too...where I've had maybe a dozen passengers over the last 6 years.

Two coats of primer, one coat of paint so far in the footwell, hope to put down another coat tomorrow, and Labor day I'll finish my sealing with the raammat and waterproof aluminum tape.

Put my coils and plugs in last weekend, thanks to Perrenoud Fit for pointing me at Rock Auto, they had everything I needed, including the proper long-life spark plugs.

Glad it was helpful for ya. Sounds like a tight ride you're building.

Well, it all started with a trunk leak, and it's kind of snowballed from there. I'm still trying to figure out where this wiring harness is that could get water in it and blow up the airbags.

Protip, when you install raammat, wear some gloves. Aluminum foil cuts are possibly more painful than paper cuts.

Today: I got the Fit insured and titled in my name! *does happy dance*

Not today but still fairly recent: Last Saturday, I did a little basic maintenance and installed a few goods I had laying around for a while. Did an oil change using Mobil 1 Extended Performance with 5w20 and using an OEM A01 Honda oil filter as well as tire rotation. While the car was on the lift, I installed Techna-Fit stainless steel brake lines, Carbotech AX6 pads (doing the 913 shoes later), installed Speed Bleeder brake bleeders, and did a complete brake fluid replacement using Motul RBF600.

I finally received my JDM badges in the mail. One didn't have double sided tape so I had to drive around for a bit without a rear emblem. Here are two photos of the badges on my other wise stock Fit.
