My GF has a 2003 Jazz/Fit, that we bought last year with about 40000mls on it. Its all in good nick, but the wipers have been pretty poor.

When we first got it, they just didn't clear it, so the first mechanic changed the blades. I reckon these were just too thick - if the screen started drying up and you had the wipers on INT, they would start to drag.

But even worse than that, one afternoon she was driving it on the highway at 100kmh (60mph) in pouring rain and the wipers went nuts and flipped over, the back of the arms scratching the crap out of the screen.

Anyway, we then went to a different mechanic about 2 weeks ago, who changed both the arms and the blades and said the previous mechanic had put incorrect blades in. Everything was fine until today and they have started dragging and even flipping over by themselves again.

Should I try and get some OEM arms and blades from Honda? Could it be a problem with the motor? Do the arms need adjustment? I notice that in a search of the net and the forums no one else has had these probs. Thanks in advance.
