07-08 Honda Fit projector headlights..

I'm trying to find Projector headlight w/ or w/o halo's that will fit USDM 07-08 Honda Fit. I can find them searching the web but they only fit the JDM models for that year. Any suggestions???

None available for us fits. Retro fit is your only option.

Hey Vinny. I have a set of projectors retrofitted with FX35 projectors and painted 2010 honda civic black. They have the clear lenses on them. No gay halo's, just real retrofit and working projectors. It also comes with FULL wiring, bulbs, ballasts, and instructions on how to install them.

Let me know, I'll sell everything for $700 shipped. Trust me, you will LOVE it!!!!

retrofit is the only way. check the lighting section. there's a walk through on how to disassemble and install fx35 projectors.

Hey, Thanks a million for the reply but.... I was hoping there was someone who manufactures them with the "plug and play" option.

Its retro or nothing my man, I've searched the web for a year and a half for a drop in alternative and there isn't one. The only choice you haveto is to hook up with someone on here who does retros and get them to do all the leg-work for you. Which they will do, but not for free LOL I have finally decided to just do it myself, there are guys on here who have really bent over backwards to help me out with that too! It really isn't that hard to do, you just have to grit your teeth and bake the lights in the oven to get them apart.... HTH

Water leak in the trunk? Have you identified exactly where the water was is coming in from? It could be a number of reasons. The rubber seal that surrounds your hatch opening thats sealed to the car could be defective. The spoiler is (if you have one) is attached to your vehicle with two bolts on each end, remove caps and insure that they a tightened. There are three to four other bolts on the spoiler that "does not" screw on they just simply push into holes in the hood with plastic water leak protectors, remove spoiler and see if they are defective. If you find that either of these are your problems simply apply a "clear" weather resistant silicone glue on bolts and replace spoiler into original position. If you are not mechanically inclined, I suggest having a professional perform these procedures. Hope this can at least narrow down your problem to the main source of the leak.

Incorrect Year Range for Sale 2007 Halo Headlamps

Be careful when buying GD Gen Headlamps. I bought the advertised Projectors indicating fitment from 2007-2008. If you look at the picture clearly, you'd be able to see a slight curve on the top of the headlight. The GD models are actually straighter top edge. Now Im stuck with these and attempting to sell them...sucks when folks are selling items they have no clue about. Nuff Said!!!

Thumbs down Projectors

Hey, I feel your "pain". The bad thing about it is nobody manufactures them for 07-08 usdm Fits. Even though the seller knows they won't fit your ride they will sell them to anybody that will purchase them. Talkin' about a "major scam" some of these guys are pulling off!!!
Koolkev had the only legit looking retro's that I've have come across yet.

Thanks for the heads up reyangelo. Yea I was looking at the same headlights at Amazon: Amazon.com: 07-09 Honda Fit LED Halo Projector Headlights Black: Automotive

I was a bit confused when it said 07-09 Honda Fit, when the GD and GE chassis is obviously different. Therefore it can't possibly be for both the 07 through 09.

The lights do look nice, but hopefully you'll be able to sell them. No refunds or returns???

Good guy wins....somewhat

FYI - I was not able to return the headlamps. I called and emailed the headlamp company to have audit trail of my attempts. I then called my credit card company and filed a report to indicate seller shipped "incorrect item", I received refund from my credit card company same day I called (Temporary refund while dispute is in progress - usually called provisional credit). A dispute usually takes about 60 days after being reported. Since I knew these sellers have no clue and dont want to deal with the banks, I knew they'd coward away. After 60 days, I was able to keep my provisional credit (full refund) and kept the headlamps they shipped.
I will probably try to sell them sometime this spring/summer, UNLESS I can find someone who can take the projector parts of the headlamp and FIT them onto my GD FIT Headlamps. That'd be sweet...
Again, I knew how to play the system....just had to knowledge myself on how to get back at these guys. Only downside is this company is still selling the incorrect headlamp to innocent folks
Glad these threads help....thanks again FITFREAK!!!

Hey reyangelo,

Thanks for the update. Yea I contacted the seller at Amazon as well. Thankfully, they were upfront and told me they were having issues with the lights and had to remove their listing. Lol, "knowledge of the system?" Sounds more like your bank gave you as a courtesy, a credit to your account.

As far as if the bank actually goes after or reverses the other guys credit is another thing...

And for the retrofit, unless you know someone else; it seems the guy to go to is Rich at (http://hidillusionz.com). But retrofits aren't cheap, and can range anywhere from several hundred to a thousand dollars.

Best of luck!

P.S. A final note for people considering purchasing aftermarket headlights (I did because I wanted mine blacked out and didn't want to do it myself); just realize the quality may NOT be the same as OEM.

Aftermarket really doesn't meet up to OEM for these headlights (at least not the ones I bought). Everything looks nice, but the light output is nowhere near my OEM lights. If I knew this, I would spend the extra hundred and buy OEM lights from dealer.
