GD3s came stock like that. In order to do that with your lights, you have to remove them, bake them in the oven, pull off the clear lens, scuff and paint the housing, reheat the adhesive, put back on the lens and remount.

Google headlight painting or something like that, it is very common.

look on the sticky, DIY headlights. You have to take apart your stock headlights and spray the chrome part to orange revolution. You can ask your dealer if they have the color, but i think it might be pretty expensive. a small bottle of touch up paint costs around $5.

It will be a hassle and cost some coins, but I think it would look cool.

I LOVE that Blaze Orange. Anyway, here's the link to the DIY headlight painting thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-painting.html

I got the link from qbmurderer13 in this thread on sport headlight for base:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ight-base.html

A third option might be to take it apart and put it together yourself, but have the head light background painted at a body shop, to color match your car perfectly.

While Niko does great instructions and qbmurderer13 says it's a piece of cake, it would be impossible for me. Got to have the tools and the space to do, and also have the strength and ability.

I don't have any of that.

Paying someone to do that whole job would probably be very expensive.

P.S. I liked the interior design better on the GD versions too. But, I'm fine with my '09!

The process is very easy if you follow the steps in the DIY. It takes some patience and time. It can be completed in a matter or hours over the weekend.

As far as color matching them for orange revolution....um...there are websites where you can order a spray can of paint mixed to the specific color code of your vehicle. I would do that or take the headlights apart and take the chrome pieces (they just unscrew from the inside of the light) off and take them to a body shop/dealer and have them painted to match your car. Then all you have to do is screw them back in and put the light back together.

I was afraid to go through with the process at first but after much consideration I decided to dive in. Take your time. It turned out to be the best mod I've done thus far and the cheapest. All it cost me was a can of paint ($4), a little seal-all ($5) and my time. Go for it!

Oh man, that's just too sneaky!

One thing I've learned in my short time wandering around this forum... you guys have serious addictions to pics! You guys will encourage anyone, through anything... as long as the end result provides the almighty pic! I see the comments all the time:

"Pics... gimme' pics!"
"Pics... need pics!"
"Hey... more pics!"
"Pics... must have pics!"
"Pics, pics, pics... now!

I've been on some forums in my day. But this place houses the net's most radical PicFreak junkies!

Sorry... It's funny... the pic thing here is like kids on Christmas morning.
Ha! It IS like Christmas morning!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pictures. And I like that people are so encouraged to participate. That is a way of participating, and it creates a library of great references.

It's especially useful for getting an idea of how the colors look under different lighting. Or how various wheel/tire combos look. Or add-on body mods. Any of that is super helpful.

And it's oooh-ahhh worthy.

I think "hurry up and load" when I go in the picture threads.
