Cool Fit: First car?

Hey
New here!
I recently purchased a 2003 fit (JDM) for my first car and i was wondering if:

--the parts on the 2007+ fit the 2003
--if not, where can i purchase the older parts, body kits etc.
--What are some of the best performance parts

Thanks

Stick with GD parts 2007-2008. If you want to change headlights, best to look for JDM headlights as the JDM Fit front end is a little different than the USDM one. Otherwise you should be ok.

What fit do you have? GD1 or GD3? Engine size will be your first clue as to what model you have.

from what I have been reading and seeing is that the GD basically stayed the same with just cosmetic updates so I would think all JDM parts would be compatible.

Heres a quick link to the wiki on the Fit. The GD3 with the 1.5L VTEC is the car you can buy all your engine parts in the USA, the 1.3L engine is the one where I think only the oil filter, air filter et cetera are compatible with the USDM vehicles. The 1.3L iDSI engine never came to the USA.

Hey, grats on your first car! if you want to purchase headlights i highly recommend this
01-07~Honda~FIT~JAZZ~GD~CCFL~Projector~Head~Lights~06 ~~: eBay Motors (item 260548861861 end time Sep-03-10 11:07:44 PDT)

They are unbelievable... how much it changes the look of your jazz and how well its functionality is. I love mine, it's so nice haha. Check out my picture trail on my signature if you want to look what it looks like. peace.

PS: It should fit an 03 JDM jazz too, like ^^^^ said, there isnt much change on the cosmetics side over the years. If you're wondering just ask the person who posted that sale on Ebay, he should be able to answer your question! Haha Good luck!

That will fit your GD1.

As far as exhausts are concerned, the GD1 and GD3 can mix and match parts...supposedly because that's not where the restriction is. I'm told if you want more power out of any GD, you'll have to take a long hard look at the other end - the intake and exhaust header.
