Auxilary Input
Hey guys, just wanna ask this question.
Has anyone tried this?
HONDA JAZZ 2006/06 iPOD/iPHONE/AUX INPUT IN ADAPTER: eBay Motors (item 150462048754 end time Aug-28-10 14:10:03 PDT)
If you have does it work fine? how's the product?
Thanks in advance

I didn't install that particular unit but I did install one bought off ebay from China that works essentially the same way - plugs into the CD changer port on the back of the stock HU. I was able to install it without pulling the HU and it works great. My unit came with an aux port, an SD card slot, and a USB slot. I just load my music onto a thumb drive and put it in the USB slot. No need for extra attachments or devices.
I did help another Fit owner install a USASPEC ipod interface and it worked great too. Note there's limited functionality to view/control songs on the HU - song titles won't display and most, but not all, the buttons work. Still, it was well worth it.

Hey rob, yea i looked at your thread and read a few of the ups and downs on "your" particular one. I think this one is pretty much the same as the one you have. Mine is also a single CD interface, now i noticed you said you don't have to pull the whole radio off if you have this one because basically at the back of it there is alot of space to that we can manouver through and you went in from the side yea? Is there any DIY on this or anything?.. im still abit confused to what you actually did to install it without removing the radio hardware. Thanks in advance Rob!, Oh and thanks for ^^^^ hehe.
There isn't a lot of space in there but if you drop the glove box, you"ll see a big tube running side to side underneath the top of the dash. Follow that tube towards the steering wheel and you'll find a gap just behind the HU. Someone with small hands can get the connector/wire for your aux unit in behind there and into the CD changer port on the back of the HU.
I did it twice, once for me and once for another fitfreaker. A few others have done it and posted as well so it can be done.
See the second picture in post #25.
