Funny story, Jazz pride.

So i went to play sport with my mate Evan over the weekend right, and we live pretty close to one another. The place we were going is in the city and we were down south, it's about 20-25km from our house.

After we have finished the indoor soccer sesh, we decided to go eat somewhere near our house, and i challenged him to see who gets there first! (btw for those who are wondering, my engine is fully stock and i have NOT done any performance modifications whatsoever)

So he was ahead of me in the city (well not really because its in the city we couldnt do much until we hit the freeway), also i had 3 people including me in my car and he only had 2 including him. His car is a 2007 Accord Euro. My jazz is a 1.3ltr I-dsi , whilst his is a 2.4 V-tec i think?

In a straight line It's almost impossible to drag him, but on the freeway there was alot of cars (thank God) which allowed me to be able to move more swiftly around the cars than him, because the jazz is so small.

There was a couple of times i was leading along way in the freeway because his car was too long to fit through the spaces that i did (hehe sucker) , there was even a time where i couldn't see him for a long time, til i slowed down to wait for him.

In conclusion I got there first, Hahaha oh gosh it's such a good feeling to beat an engine that's almost twice the size of yours.

He kept saying oh that's so Bullsh*t bla bla bla, This is such a disgrace being beaten by a jazz and so on, ahaha i just kept on smiling .

Hahaha any1 else had experience like this? just wondering.

Ohhhh btw, we saw a black Ferrari F430 while on the freeway lol.

1.5L VTI-S can easily match/beat an accord euro to 60-80kms after that the big engine really makes a difference

Agreed, I'm glad nobody got hurt. But since the OP did mention he has the 1.3 liter 4 banger under the hood, I wonder how many MPG he gets with it?

Lol, the 1.3 litre is amazing at fuel effeciency, its the I-dsi some more... I swapped with my friend's vtec for a week and a half and from full tank - empty took me about a week and a day. Comparing that i was driving my I-dsi (similar miles, same style, no over ref or anything) i was able to last for about 2 weeks and abit. I love it, ahahaha but when i rev up, it last bout a week and half. Only when im late to go uni or places i tend to rev up.

@fillit : Yeaahh.. it does, but you gotta remember i had 2 more people in my car. In our little jazz/fits every person in the car heavily influence how fast you can take off. Since it's a small engine moreweight>no boost ahahaha. He only had 1 person in his car. ouwhhh, but yea, big engine makes the difference at higher speeds. sucks!
