Fast Clock?

I tried searching the forums to no avail so here I post. My clock seems to gain time. Over the past 2 or 3 months my clock has gotten about 5 to 10 mins slower than it was. So for instance using my cell phone as a reference two months ago 12 noon was matched up on both clocks. now it is 12 noon on my cell and 12:10 on the fit. Anyone else notice this or is it just me? Maybe the Japanese use a different time system? lol

The clock isn't fast. The rest of the world is just slower.

In the 3 and a half years of owning my Fit, the clock is about 3 mins ahead. I just leave it. It helps make sure I get to where I need to be early.

The clock is one of the few things I dislike about the car, mainly because on a sunny day the display is washed out by the sunlight. I never had this problem with any other car I've owned in my life, CRX included.

mine will gain about 10 minute over 6 months. I just set it back to the right time at Day Light Saving.

My Fit's clock gains time too at about the same rate others have posted. Sounds like a design flaw in the HU. Sometimes the clocks are mechically adjustable if you're willing to tear into the innards because the timer oscillator circuit is analog. Sometimes you need the right digital tools to access some microprocessor which is tracking the time. Sometimes you're just screwed.

according to the theory of relativity, your clock should be slower than stationary clocks. i posit that you are driving significantly slower than honda engineers ever intended the fit to be driven. you sir, must drive like a granny.

The Fit isn't a race car. I would have kept my SE-R if I wanted something more like that.

Thats the part I cant figure out. There seems to be no real pattern that I can figure out. I just think my car sometimes gets a little moody and doesn't feel like keeping track of time.
