I've been surfing here for a while, finally registered.
Red 07 Sport Auto....sad to say. 23K miles, haven't really service anything yet beside regular oil changed every 3K miles.

plan on flushing the tranny fluid soon, another oil change, cabin filter change, fuel filter change, alignment, front and rear brake.

I hope to get 200K plus miles.

My 98 Accord tranny just took a dump with 220K miles on it.

meh i need my auto fluid changed at dealer

no place/space to diy that and i'd rather let them hassle with it

62k and all i've had to replace so far (again, knock on wood) is regular oil changes and i'm now on my 2nd set of tires

as far as major work, i'm hopeful that it's at least 150k before i have to do anything out of the ordinary.

beyond the water leaks i first had that led me to fitfreak, i'm pleasantly happy that honda's rep has lived up to the hype for me at least

^^ I like ur style i use to do all my own work. Yes it saves me some money but its such a hassel to do and find a space to do it seeing i live in apartments. So now for most things i go to the dealer.

My wife owns our '07 Fit and she has driven it to 148K so far and it has never given her problems. I was talking to the Dealership parts guy about how I didn't expect it to last too long. He said that the core of the engine is the same as the tried and true Civic engine. Those last hundreds of thousands of miles.
I have only now started to work on her car for maintenance (prior to this it was just dealer service, but only cheap stuff like oil changes and things like that.)
Just did her first ATF change (the old stuff looked way better than I expected) coolant change, brake fluid change and her first rear drum brake shoe replacement, engine air filter change (that thing was disgusting and I hate to think when that was last changed). She went from 100k miles to where she is now with only oil changes, and then the dealership hit her up for all the above items with a quote for ~$800. I said no way, so have been learning about and how to do all those items.
All in all, her car is as easy as my BMW to work on, just tiny. I had her pull the tranny dipstick and also put in the fluid refill tube cause her little hands fit in there easier than mine.

I'm rather brutal on my GD1 but I do give it the maintenance it deserves. It's a five-year-old car by now, although it's been with me for just three of them.

I don't really think in terms of miles or kilometers (although I've hit 70,000 km); instead I think in terms of years owned. Honestly I really hope I could keep my Aibo running for at least seven more years - by then I'd have a family of my own. The car enjoys being driven hard, but is also quite cheap to run and service, and is roomy enough in my eyes for taking tots along.

I've got 230K on my '07 5-speed Sport. Change the oil every 6-7K with Mobil One. Clutch went at 150K, couple sets of brakes, bunch of tires (have had best luck with Yokahamas), K&N Typhoon, and aftermarket exhaust (dunno what it is, bought the car used w/16K miles from an older widow in Phoenix). I've been a good boy about maintenance. I'm aiming for 500K, which I should hit within 3 years of driving from Tucson to Phoenix and back every night.
I work with a guy who drives a 2003 Camry 4-cyl and does about the same amount of 80+mph travel as me. He's at 400K miles with no major problems yet.
It's all about hours. Over the last 3 years I've probably got about 5K hours on the motor. I expect another 5K. The goal is 500K miles. Fingers crossed!

I've got 57,000 on my 08. I am going to drive this car into the ground...my family had a volvo that made it to over 400,000 and I'm guessing this car will be able to do the same.

Like others have said, maintenance is key...

Hondas are strange creations. no AT filtration, engines are relatively low-maintenance, and the vehicles are all-around decent cars. I had a Ford truck that I bought with 70K miles on it used. Had to rebuild the transmission at 115K and the entire front end was shot at 125K. It wasn't a good vehicle. I have 93K on my Fit and it's never given me problems. I have done regular maintenance to it and followed the MM. It's funny though every time I have done something other than change the oil to it before the MM came on, I have always done what it needed, just a couple of weeks before. I have never had a problem with the car, and have been very pleased with all attributes. I look forward to owning it for longer. I am hoping for 300K minimum. My next service will be a water pump and coolant flush.

I've got to ask, why drive so much? Just for worker do you deliver something?

127,000 miles on my 07 sport, oil changes regularly, aft once, brakes once, three sets of tires. Easily a few hundred thousand more miles.

I have 30,600 miles on my 2007 - just barely broken in! I've taken care of all the required regular maint. items and no issues except for the recalls which were all done too. I am praying my little Fit can take me into retirement time without a hitch. It is going to kill me to get rid of this car when the time comes - don't even want to think of it!

300,000 miles

No doubt. 91,000 currently. But also I will fix anything that breaks so I'll have this thing for quite some time. I just need to make sure the bottom doesn't rust out.

Right now I have 73000 miles on my 08 fit. I plan to use it for the next 3 years so I want it to last up to 110,000 miles without major issues. Expecting coil packs, transmission flush, tire change, alignment, oil changes, coolant flush and...rain x haha.
In 3 years, I plan on getting the Tesla Model 3 if/when it comes out. If not, the 2016 GTI or 2015 Golf R if the price goes down enough. Till then, Fit is my reliable as hell buddy

Looks like an 800cc Suzuki Intruder. I agree.

This is my "other ride".

Just wondering what other people are at now. I just recently totaled mine at 110k, but am still in the market for a GD3. Have a friend willing to sell his to me for 2k but it has 175k on it... Still debating. I know he took pretty good care of it, and if anything motors on E-bay go for 500 starting.
