Exclamation Step by step posting pic on forums

Can someone give step by step directions on how to post pics into the forums. I have posted pics before... but for some reason I cannot get my pics from imageshack to upload to FF.
I followed the instruction on the one thread that is posted already on (How to post) pics, but for some odd reason it is not working for me. Maybe I'm missing a step along the way!!!

1. In a separate tab/window, right click the image you want to post here then click view image.

2. Cut/copy the URL (begins with "http://") and click this image in message box on the forum.

3. Paste the URL into the box and click ok. The image should then pop up in your message box.
