I need advice on upgrades. Please help

Hi, I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me with some advice about upgrading my 2008 GD3 Fit Sport/AT, black.

1. I want to lower my car slightly with lighter 15 inch wheels.

2. I want a larger rear spoiler.

3. Blacked out head lights

4. chamber air intake system

What are the best parts for these upgrades? What store carries these parts?

What do you mean blacked out headlights if your car is black? The housings should already be black. Do you mean tint?

black housing headlights can be found on ebay, or you can DIY.

Get some skunk2 springs. they lower at a decent rate, but it isn't too low that you have to change your normal driving habits.

I love my Swift Sport springs. Do a search and you'll find tons of happy people.

Like another said ur car is black the housing should be black. So one mod knocked out of the way.
2. Springs go with sunks or swift are the best from what i have read and seen
3. So u want to add some rice in the form of a lager rear wing. I suggest you don't do this for the sake of all us fits. But if you must the J's wing is big and i think it looks good with the right lip cough cough check my sig.
4. Intake its back and forth on this but if it was me i would go with ethier the password JDM one in carbon but know that you would have to get a smaller battery to make it fit good. Or the T1R in carbon both sick looking intakes that really don't add much HP at all. More for the looks. But way down the road i plan to add one or the other.
Take it from me start slow with the modding save up get what u really want for the car this will save u money down the road and plenty of stress. I'm moding mine very slowly trying to keep in clean is my goal with adding some flare. Next i need to paint the beem in the middle of my grill black and put some mesh behind it.

What wing to you have? But see with ur car it will flow better because of ur mods. Just like if i got one due to my lip and grill. But if a stock Fit just had huge wing it looks out of place

Thank you all for your replies. As for the headlight mod, I did mean tinted lights. I'm wondering if the tinted headlights, brighter rear lights, larger wing ( not huge), and some chrome along the bottom of the windows may create an illusion of a smaller front end. All this of course with different wheels, and slightly lowered.

Enkei's rpf1 is probably your best bet for a light weight 15" wheel. Each wheel weighs about 9.5lbs and will make a very noticeable difference in acceleration. You'll believe you gained some horses putting those bad boys on : ). That and they'll look nice with lowering springs. My wheels are flush and look pretty meaty for a Fit. They aren't cheap though, you'll probably be paying around $800 dollars for em, but they're definitely worth it.

Yep, Enkei RPF1s in 15"x7" with 41mm offset is the best over all performance modification there is.... The reduced wear and tear on the drive train, brake, steering and suspension components will save you money over time.... Your car will, handle, steer, stop and ride much better than with heavier wheels... They work real well with Swift Sport Springs..... If I had an automatic transmission I would also use 195 -50-15 sized tire. The smaller diameter will have the same effect as lowering the final drive ratio and aid in improving acceleration by reducing rotating mass.Your speedometer and odometer will be reading a little higher than you are actually going, you will be turning slightly higher revs at the correct speed and might use a tad more fuel but most performance enhancing modifications will cause some fuel Mileage loss.... There are compromises one way or the other on just about anything you do to a car, but reducing rotating mass with lighter wheels and tires is a win, win improvement that is all positive and can be felt.

Here I go again........
Ricers please leave our hondas alone, please.
1. Fit has terrible headlights once lowered. Even with the beam adjusted up. No headlight tint, this will make visibility worse. Try hid system or bulbs. 6500_8500 range is good. Low end for white light, high end for blue light. Xeion makes good hids for fit 150usd, piaa has good bulbs 70usd.
2. Spoiler if you must: spoon, mugen, and Js racing all make one a little larger then stock. Only if you must.
3. RPF1s are the absolute best, lightest wheel out there. Certain konigs are also light.
15x7 +41 is nice.
4. Please No chrome under windows, please with cherry on top. Whipped cream if you like.
5. Springs are your choice due to lowering wants. Swift or progressive is highest drop 1". Eibach and skunks are lowest drop about 2". Coilovers will take you lower if you please.
6. Intakes are plentiful. Chambers password or tr1. Arc would trump them all, but good luck with that.
7. Spend your money on springs, wheels, rear sway bar, intake, front under brace, and maybe strut bars (not needed). In that order you will be very pleased. Throw in hids when you have vision problems.
Also tint is a must, thats alot of glass. Black with tint is hott.
I hope this helps. Try not to negative my feedback to bad.
