There's not much you can look for when buying a car off of Ebay since it's not in your physical possession. What else can you do besides run a Car Fax, check the title, etc.

Any time you buy a vehicle on ebay ALWAYS get a Carfax report. Its not a guarantee but is very useful when you find the scheduled service records AND the odometer mileage readings with time. Gaps and locations are significant as is the location. (would you want to buy a car from NYused daily?
emissions checks too
And last but not least, have an OBD checker handy so you can verify nothings amiss that could make your ownership a serious problem. if you have to go by an Advance auto parts store or equal their Actons are roughly $50 and will advise you of multiple problems better than most.
You really need to do that for any car you buy nowdays.
Otherwise goiod luck.

PS.Look for signs of modifications, such as prolled fenders, cutouts on inner liners, etc
