Letting my GD go :(

So i'm selling my GD. I really don't want to, but I'm still making payments for the car & i'm a college student. So ya'll know what that means, BROKE! So I'm selling it and buying a beater.

This is what I currently have on it right now.

08 MR Honda Fit Sport AT
• JDM Coin Pocket
• OEM All weather Floor Mats
• OEM Cargo Tray
• OEM Rear Bumper Applique
• Password JDM Oil Drain Plug
• Password JDM Thermal Shield Intake Gasket

Practically stock. I'm selling it for 13,500. You guys think it's a good deal?

stock 28K and $13.5K.... not bad but on the higher side.

my 08 is 23K miles and im thinking i can only get $10-11K on a trade at best... not sure in HI, but i think $12.5K at best for private sale.

QFT, I just traded mine in at 35K and was able to get 11.5 out of it.

yah, but remember that trade-in is different from a private sale where the dealer will play with the numbers on your new car to make it look like you got a decent trade in...considering everything from dealer stock levels, how many they need to sell this month, etc. etc.

private sale is straight forward very clear what you got out of the sale.

Of course. I'm just pointing out that its possible to get more from your trade/sale than you think. I realistically gotten 10 from mine.

which is back to where i quoted, $10K-11K on a trade-in. your dealer gave you a decent trade imho since you got 10K.

they can give you a big number on a trade but they will bloat the price on the new car or any incentives.

private sale, i think $12.5K is realistic.
