Running different width rims.

Running different width rims.
So I bought a set of snow tires for the Fit and was trying to find a set of clean 14" steelies with no luck. I found 2 at a local junk yard and then found another 2 for sale on a fourum. I noticed tonight that 2 are 14x5 and the other 2 are 14x5.5. They are all Honda rims with the 14 oblong holes. The 14x5 are from a 97 Civic, or that what was written on them, the other ones are unknown.
My question is, should I try to find another 2 in either width so they are all the same or not worry about it as long as I keep them paired up?

As long as the same rim widths are on the same axle you're fine. I prefer the wider rims 14x5.5 on the front and the narrower 14x5 on the rear.
It shouldn't be the case but be sure the offset is the same on matching wheels, that is, one 14x5 doesn't have a different offset from the other 14x5. You can check by measuring the vertical distance from the rim to the hub face. Lay each wheel on its side on the floor and measure the distance from the floor up to the hub face. They should be the same.
Thats not the offset; it just says they are the same. If there's even a mm difference you may want to get another wheel to match

You'll have to tell us what rim width you have, what offset, and what tires you have.
You may have to take a wheel off; on the back you will find the wheel size and the offset. The offset will be 35, 38, 42, 45, 53 or some 2 digit number. Thetire size can be read on the tire. And you probably need to tell us the year of your Fit.
