What stock rims from other cars fit the Fit?

I tried searching for this info but found myself wading neck deep in rim and tire posts... So - I'll ask the Fit gurus.

What aluminum rims from other models of cars will fit on the Fit? I saw one post indicating del Sol rims would fit... any others? Or, at least when I am searching aftermarket I know what all the possibilities are.

I would like to use the stock 14" steel rims with winter tires, and then have aluminum rims with all season tires on them for the remainder of the year. I could go 14" aluminum and keep the stock tires, or I could upgrade to 15" or even 16" rims with new tires. I am not looking for ultra performace or high cost stuff, just some nice looking preferably 5 spoke aluminum wheels as cheaply as possible.

All advice is welcome.

Thanks,
JB

well... I am in no way overly experienced in this but I would say that by and large any lug, spacing, and offset that is the same would be likely to fit.
But then again some people on here have done more radical setups that seem to work fine (if you further define fine )

There are some threads that have tons of wheel info. I know you have searched but thats the point to keep finding this info out as there are so many different things, that this would still be the most comprehensive way me thinks.

good luck

Fat 5's from Tegs fit. I put my tegs fat 5's on my Fit but the tires were 205 so it rubbed like crazy. With 195's it would work.

Except ITR wheels, they do fit but they are 5 lug, so technically they dont fit..

As stated above. Almost anything with a 4x100 lug pattern will fit.

Civic Hx wheels do not fit. Spacers are needed for the front wheels to clear the calipers.
If youre going to buy 14in wheels. Id suggest the offset be at least +45mm. For caliper clearance issues.

I hate Si wheels. HATE EM! Theyre so popular and played out. They arent even that nice.
But they do look great on the Fit. Anytime I see them on a Fit I take back my hate for the Si's. When theyre on anything else I HATE THEM!

Thanks for all the info. I will have to keep my eyes open to see what I can find. I did see some pretty inexpensive rims on the tirerack website for about $60per... that might be an okay solution also. Thanks again!

The Fit wheel is 4x100mm BC and 55 mm offset. That means 4 hub bolts 90 degrees apart on a 100 mm circle. The 55 mm offset means the wheel hub face is 55 mm (2.16") outside the center of the wheel. The centerbore is 2.75"; always check that before buying your wheel. Both TireRack and DiscountTire can offer good assistance. Not many other cars have 4x100 hubs;the only one i remember offhand is Opel but there may be a Toyotaor Mazda wheel although most are 4x4 BC And that is NOT a fit ! (4" = 101.6 mm)
We have found wheels up to 17"x7 that work with offsets down to 42 mm. The size of the tire has to remain within a width of 205mm and diameter of 23.5 to 23.9". The greater offset up to 55 mm the greater allowable diameter; the less the offset the narrower the tire allowed.
Our overall choice for looks and performance as well as negligible speedo/odo error is 205/40x17 tires on 17x7/42mm wheels. If you stick with 15x7"/42 wheels 205/50x15 and if 16x7"/42wheels 205/45x16.
Good luck.

lots of cars share the Fit's 4x100 bolt pattern, certain model hondas, acuras, mazdas, toyotas, scions, kias, hyundais, saturns, vws, e30 bmws, etc...

just watch out for offsets and centerbore sizes. wheels intended for a vw for example will have a larger centerbore, so they woulld be best used with a set of centering rings.

i think you're better off finding a set of aftermarket wheels properly matched for the Fit like mentioned above.

Thanks everyone for your help! I have to decide whether to upsize the wheels from the 14” or not. I would like the larger rim size for aesthetic reasons, but if I got 15s or 16s then not only are the rims more expensive but also I would have to get new tires… We’ll see. Thanks again for the useful info!

The HFP wheels (16") are only $108 each.
Honda Fit Alloy Wheels - Genuine 2007-2008 Honda Fit Alloy Wheels

You can get Fit Sport rims plus tires from someone who has already gone to aftermarket rims. They usually sell for around $400 a set.

I know these options are not from other model cars, but they will have the correct offset, and are inexpensive. The Civic doesn't have a 55mm offset.

ok, so I'll ask....

Mx6GT89, how are you putting 5 bolts on your Fit? Is that photoshop or a 4 lug to 5 lug spacer? Might have been answered already in another thread but I dont have time to search through, just saw your signature pic and was like, wtf?
