I am thinking of doing some mud flaps that could quickly be removed... Thinking about it though just using a 1/4" ratchet and hex head bolts would be quick enough... It is the added wind resistance of having them that bugs me as does the huge side mounted rear view mirrors.

I think the guys that have to endure seeing their cars in that condition would be willing to trade locations with you during the winter months... Just imagine the fun you'd have driving in a winter wonder land...

I'd love to get the weathertech splash-guards for the fit. If enough of us put in requests, I bet they'll hook us up.

Hey Angry Fit, hook me up with a set of 4 for the GD. Could you PM me or post the pricing for them considering the group buy? Thanks. I will buy a set FOR SURE.

Hm... I'm having a hard time understanding why the "basic" set is $15 and the "UR" set is $100... from the description I gather that the UR's are thicker, but... $85 worth of thicker??

What am I missing here?

Subaru people use them for rallying and swear by them. Nuff' said.

But are any of us rallying?

I don't need a sledgehammer to bang in a nail. If the $15 versions are 'good enough' to keep most of the winter-shitstorm off my paint, I can put that extra $85 towards suspension goodies!

(I'll get the 'better' one's if they're really worth it, but... money's tight and I gotta be smart with what I try and get past the Boss )

For me, it from what i've seen people put them through in the subie forums, they're holding up strong. From my use with generic mud flaps you buy from the store, they developing cracks and/or break off easily when going over bumps. I prefer to pay for quality rather than having to repeatedly buy something (ie K&N filters). But yeah, I definitely feel you on the whole get past the "boss" thing (*cough* Wife*cough*).

the basic are your basic plastic stuff... they will eventually bend and get beat up...

the ur are urethane, won't retain a shape (returns to flat), holds up much better, stays relatively flexible in varying temperatures...

Question Possible pricing???

Well, how much are we as Fit enthusiasts going to have to shell out? If it's a group buy, I'm hoping to pay a lot less than $100 for all four.

And if I do have to pay a premium price, these Rally Armor flaps better fit perfectly, I mean like OEM specs!

Angryfit said he'd be posting more details about the deals soon. He said something about $100 a piece for custom fitted GD/GE ones for now and if we can get 20 people or more it could be around 85 shipped.

I suppose, but it's really about performance, not durability (since you can buy 6 sets for the price of one - replace them once a year if you had to ).
