i think this is how it happened....

it was just a random day for jacking shit out of car and they got to my girl's car somehow, riffling through all her stuff, and found my spare key in her change compartment(not in plain sight) then got my keys realized its for the car in front of the car they're ripping off and took off with it.

Wow, i'm sorry for your loss... Did you check your girl's car to see if the spare key was missing? I too wanna know how your car got stolen as I thought our cars were much harder to steal which is why I felt comfortable with the purchase of my Fit.

they broke into the car behind the fit and found the spare key. its very easy to steal a car when you have the key

I would guess for the chance that you lock yourself out of the car with the keys inside. I've put spare keys in friends cars, but only copy's of keys that actually dont have the chip to start it.

Yeah... I hate this. The reason y my spare was in my girl's car is cause we have such opposite schedules and we have back to back parking spots and we switch it around in the morning.

I hope it was just a joy ride and they find It in one peice... The only that's on there that is after market was the side markers and the visors... Anyone that knows about hondas and what to look for a quick sell, they would not jack a fit.

As dumb as it is to leave a set of keys in another car I am very sorry to hear it got stolen. Hopefuly it was just for a joy ride and it's found in one piece and not thrashed on to hard. Though if insurance finds out that the key was used to take the car I think your kind of shit out of luck, maybe I'm wrong idk.

No Way!

That's crazy, cause I was at the Dealership last week on Friday the 4th picking up some transmission fluid and I saw a car exactly like yours with the red coloring on the grill! and some stickers on the side skirts. It was parked by the service managers windows. WOW that is crazy i could swear this was your car? In any event I'm sorry to hear that. I'll keep in eye out in this area. Believe me if I see it i'll let you know ASAP. (and my girlfriend thinks i'm paranoid cause i'll always checking my car out the window, i'm gonna show her this post in the mor'nin)
