Probably not a really big deal but I just noticed (after three years!) that my stock wheels had a tire mounted inside out. I was told at the time of sale that the tires were not directional so I could follow the non-directional rotation pattern. The stock Dunlops don't have a markedly asymmetric pattern so it wasn't that apparent visually. I usually swap to winter tires during the cold season and was switching back to the stock tires for spring when I finally noticed that this one tire seemed to have more inner edge wear than the other three and that's when I discovered the mis-mounting. The tires are at about 3/8" and are due to be changed soon anyway but if any of you still have relatively low mileage on your original wheels, best to give a quick look

 

The deeper groove was towards the inside of the rim? That's funky.
