CVT vibration

Hi All,

When I drive in D mode i.e. driving on a constant speed of 60km the RPM goes down to 1.5k rpm rather maintaining over 2k rpm and you feel the shudder/vibration. In 7 speed mode it maintains constant RPM with no vibration/shudder.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

I have a 2006 fit, with the cvt and 60500 kms right now. Never had a problem, but it jerks since day one, I don't know why, it doesn't have the paddle shifters, and i wouldn't use them, i read that is not a good idea, because you would put too much stress on the belt, it seems more of a marketing strategy than an advantage. It seems to me very normal for the engine to rotate at 1500RPMS when you are cruising at 60 km/h, but my car doesn't shake while driving, i'm happy with this car, because I live in bolivia, here the fuel is bad, roads are the worst, and the car is very realiable.
You have to keep in mind that the cvt transmission is a little weak, so I only use Honda ATF-Z1 once every 12 months, to tell you the truth i don't like this transmission, i hope not all the cvts are like that.
i change one strut, and i will replace another suspension parts in the future, i guess that is normal in bolivia, even the land cruiser has this problem.
