Front lights come and go?
Hallo there!
I've had my Fit for close to a year now and have driven the living hell out of it.
I did a 12000 mile roadie in September and slept in it most nights. It's a sweet sled, isn't it?... but that's rather rhetorical here, I know.
I've got an issue with the light (amber) above the headlight on the right side. Occasionally it works, occasionally it doesn't. I know the bulb hasn't died since it works about half of the time but it's not the most reliable thing ever. There are days when I hit the power unlock and it'll flash but upon starting it won't be there. Am I the only one with this issue or is it a thing that lots of you perhaps might also have?
Thanks!!

I've got something similar going on with mine on the driver side. For about two years now, every once in a while I notice no light when I remote unlock it. A whack or two on the headlight housing, and it's good to go for a while. Mildly annoying, but it hasn't bugged me enough to bother pulling the fender liner aside to investigate.
I had this happen a few times on my car ever since it was new. First time was within the 1st year and I just told the dealer to replace the bulb since it was covered. But it's happened a couple of times since. But like kbri said, nothing a good whack or two couldn't 'fix'. I've pulled the entire bumper when I installed my HID, and saw nothing out of the norm.

check tension on the bulb and the door switch contacts; look for corrosion on the bulb contacts too. Some bulbs are easily corroded.
And if you have vom next time its out when it should be on check for current from the battery side of the bulb to ground. Then check for resistance from ground side of bulb to chassis ground. That should isolate the problem. Check resistance across the bulb, too.
I think I'm having the same issue. Last week, I noticed that that teeny tiny amber parking light bulb was out. I haven't gotten around to messing with it, but planned on getting a new pack of bulbs and replace it. This morning when I was dropping off the kiddo, I noticed it was back on! Hmm... Might have to check the bulb and put some bulb grease back there. The recall mentioned above may be unrelated, since it's a problem with the low beams going out.... but I recently (mid March) had my car in for that recall and this bulb went out after my service.
I'm sure it's just a bad connection at the bulb if it turns back on with a whack on the headlight housing.
