As the title states - I've been wanting to put a front tow hook on the Fit and ordered one last year which turned out to be red. I returned it but they advised that they no longer made them in black. I found one on E-bay and went ahead and placed the order. Just don't think the red on red will look as good as if it were black. Anyone painted or have these powder coated before?

 

Hey Cat, send a PM to HolyFit, he has a nice little cottage industry going selling powdercoated stuff. He could most likely do the coating on your tow hook for you. And I do think powder coating or oven cured finish is the way to go mainly because paint would probably flake off. I have dealt with him in the past and he is a really cool guy HTH, Ross
