I got a bit of a headlight problem on my GD
I have been running HID headlights and foglights for well over three years now on the Fit with no problems until a couple weeks ago.
The problem started the night before ECHM (~3 weeks ago). I had to take my front bumper off to install my tranny cooler, and I had to unhook my fogs to do so. I installed the tranny cooler and hooked the foglights back up and tested them out before I put the bumper back on.
The foglights were not working.
I checked everything: all the connections, the battery, the harness and the fuse at least a half dozen times (no joke)
Luckily the headlights were still working. It was getting late so I wrapped everything back up and decided to work on it another day.
Then I noticed my Keyless stopped working.
This is the factory Keyless Remote system. I installed it myself and it has worked flawlessly for the past three years.
I decided to live with it and on a day that im not busy to figure out what is wrong and fix it.
My headlights have worked great ever since, until last night.
I started the car, let it warm up and clicked on the headlights. There was no sound and no light. The high beams did not work either.
So to summarize:
My foglights dont work
My keyless entry does not work
My headlights dont work
This is the first time I am having this problem. I currently have the entire harness for the HID's out of my car and inspected it to find no visible damage.
I am hoping it is something simple like a fuse or a relay or harness so that I can fix it.
If anybody has had the same/similar situation on their car please chime in as I really need your input.

You mean you didn't check the fuses first thing? Hell, i would have done that before I closed the hood. If it isn't a fuse (or two) I would be very surprised. Now the real question is, why did the fuse let go? Could be one of your fog light ballasts has gone bad. My fog ballasts lasted aprroximately 2 1/2 years before they went tits up.

It was my fault though, in an effort to hide the harness and make it look clean I tucked the wires underneath the radiator support. All the wires and main relay are fine, just that one fuse was all effed up.
So my headlights and keyless are working again. Ill have to figure out whats up with the fogs this weekend.
Thanks grtpumpkin!
No problem man, I would still suspect a bad ballast for the fogs is your issue. Were they both working before, or had one of them gone out? Also it occured to me that you might have your fogs wired for independent, if that is the case check your connection to the wiring harness to make sure it hasn't come loose.
