"Best" is a relative term dependent on your reference point. I use Mobil 1 synth 5W-20. The 5W-20 weight is what's recommended in the owner's manual.

^^^I second this. I was using CAM2 but for the past two years I've been using the Mobil. All my Hondas have run fantastic by going by the manual, I see no need to stray.

I see how all of you glossed over the F/I bit of his post and the implications therein.

0w- or 5w-30 high zinc/high moly. Any of either AMSOIL, Mobil, Brad Penn, or Royal Purple will work.

If you track it, or beat on it for extended periods consider a 5w40 like shell rotella t6.

Or consider mixing in a 1/4 mix of 20w50 or straight 50.

Also, I hate these threads. No offense OP but it turns into an uninformed circle jerk in a hurry.

Best of luck, whatever you choose. I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine.
