Honda HX rims on GD?

Stock 14 inch Civic HX rims....

Anyone know if these will fit? I would like to use them at winter snow tire swap rims?

Thanks in advance.

Yes they will fit. Do a search on showcase gd3. He had them on his base. Only problem is offset is so high they get swallowed by the wheelwell.

HX.... HX.... Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they also nicknamed the "Poor Man's ITR Wheel" since they look similar to the wheels on the '96 Integra Type R? (Not talking bad about the wheel, just trying to clarify)

^^That is a true statement there. They would look great if the offset was lower. Not to mention the fact you can go super low on 14"

They are ultra light rims so hey will help with gas milage. That is he main reason I'd want them on.

Ah, I thought so. I've spoken with a member on here that had a set on his BBP GD, he had to use 3mm (I think) spacers to run them so the wheel wouldn't scrape the brake caliper as it rotated.

^ correct again. Running a 10mm spacer would make them look alot better as well.

Ok.... Are we saying that I need the spacer to make them fit or make them look better?

My stock Honda Civic HX 5.5x14 ALLOY wheels are 45 mm offset and fit very well. They are somewhat lighter than other wheels so when I have used the HX wheels they have been good handlers as well.
ps stock Fit wheels are 52 or 53 mm offset so they widen track by 5/8" or so and do not rub in any circumstances..
Since there have been comments that the offset is very high I went and checked them; the offset is 45 mm and they DO NOT sink back into the wheel well.

No. 45 mm is actually the best offset for Fit. see my reply other.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I need to get off my ass and get some tires on them and try them out.
