best thing to do is buy a rear sway bar, then lower the car and maybe light weight wheel (rpf1) and you will feel a big difference in your car.. if you havent got it alrdy.. get it.. JDM ARM rest.. it will change your life..

go faster w/ 12 step E.T.C. 140.00 from Panson Pan. I did this 1.5 ago and love it! No lag when ya step on it. Short ram intake 45.00, and a free flow muffler. and there ya goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Here check this out :

You don't go any faster with an Electronic Throttle Controller.

Ahh perrenoud's 'mods' have done is make your car louder.

If I were you, keep it stock, do some suspension, wheel/tyre mods

As you will learn if you spend any time here 410a is Very opinionated, thanks for your comments mikey
If you ask any here that have an ETC most will agree that it makes a positive to the fun factor. If you press down on the gas pedal it's kinda slow to respond and this removes the hesitation. he's right it will not make it go faster just quicker response.
Enjoy your ride

quicker response means it is quicker.
say there were 2 exact same cars, both same turbo's except one lags .5 seconds longer... that car is obviously slower...
ETC does not add power but adds response and no lag, therefor is quicker

LOL, turbo lag is totally different. And the lag is FAR from a half a second. Sorry, I'd rather have a progressive, safe pedal than ghetto rig some throttle controller and have it set to going from off throttle to full throttle with 0.1" of downward movement.

Does the etc reduce mpg? If so by how much? I'm thinking on doing this cause I hate that lag.

I'm going to agree with mike on this.

It gives the illusion of faster response, under the guise of exaggerated response. All it does is intensify the throttle signal when you press the gas. It does nothing at all to increase the speed at which the throttle signal travels.

Its function can be summed up in a sentence, "It changes how far you depress the pedal to get the same amount of throttle if everything were still stock."

So if you don't want to hold down the gas 1 inch while cruising on the freeway, get a throttle controller and you might only have to hold it down 0.2 inches.

If you want to blip the throttle on the downshift to get the revs up to 3500, but hate having to press so far down on the pedal, get a throttle controller and you can do it with a minute tap on the pedal.

I will go even farther and say that a throttle controller messes with your ability make fine adjustments to throttle during hard cornering, so when you try to make a small adjustment, you instead get a gigantic weight shift that completely throws off your line.

^That's what I was trying to say, you put it much more eloquently than I. IDK everyone else, but when I'm revmatching on a downshift I don't think the pedal is that long at all, I just wish the car revved a bit quicker.

^ Get a lightweight flywheel dude, it's AMAZING.

It's not a "simple mod," but it's totally worth the time and money.

Yeah, when the clutch goes out I'll do so.
