Dealer Rape HELP

So If you guys could assist, you could save me a ton. Any input is appreciated!

GD3 sport 5MT 95,XXX

So, I was driving down the interstate and my gas light came on. I was a little late for work so I decided to coast in and stop on the way home. Well, I filled up with BP 87 octane and got back on then interstate to head home. Car was fine until I got on the exit ramp, I had a green light, cornered a tad hard, and then I was getting engine stall/missfire. I gave it light acceleration and got a flashing CEL. I stopped to check everything out, no other issues and it idled fine. Drove home with a very rough ride, got back and did some research. I tried to tighten the gas cap and reset the codes via the battery terminals. Still ran a little rough, but much more driveable. I was worried I had some bad gas, but drove it gingerly for the next 2 days. The problem only seemed to persist between 2.5-4k RPMs. I changed the spark plugs out and it seemed almost fixed, so I decided to wait out the tank of gas. Well my wife drives it to a nearby town and reports that its bad again, takes it to advance and pulls a multiple missfire code.Calls honda and they say to bring it in. We have the Goldcare warranty and since ive had it, a lot has been covered so i decide to take it in. The first problem is that the douche at advanced cleared the code and I have nothing to give them. Honda seems to be trying to "re-create" the problem to no avail. So what was going to be a free trip is now going to cost me $105 just in diagnostic work. The tech is saying to change the plugs again, and do a valve adjustment. I think its crap and from what i've been reading this seems to be a coilpack issue. Any thoughts could help here.

Thanks!

I agree it must all be Honda's fault.

If u already changed the plugs, then it could be the coilpack

agree that the coil packs might be bad....check your MAF sensors as well.

My sensor went bad which killed my packs.

on friday my check engine light went on again and I went to Autozone to get the codes: cylinder 1 lean.....disconnected the ground and inspected the KN filter and decided it was time to retire this filter.

Put in the old honda filter and no problems since.....

If your car can drive: get it out of there and drive until the light reappears. Then go to an autozone so they can pull the codes and give you a printout. Report the codes here afterwards...

This.

And find a good independent shop, one that will troubleshoot the problem, not just throw parts at it, which is common with dealers.
