yet another new member has dropped in. recently got a 2008 honda fit nighthawk black M/T used as a replacement for the recently deceased really bland 07 nissan versa i had till i wrecked it before the summer (whooops). now to the usually asked bits. currently finding affordable ways to keep me from loooking like the "fit" next to me (a few subtle differences to set me apart.) for the moment. once i get the money and the means will be lowering and blah blah wheels...blah blah. any DIY ideas at the moment for a poor college student with extremely limited resources (I don't live in NY i just attend school). thx

Welcome and congrats on the fit. It really is a great car to have fun with.

Heres a link for ya. It has most of the DIY threads in it, but there are many more to do. Check the DIY section of the forum.

two very easy and almost free mods that will set your fit apart

1: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...il-lights.html

2:https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...wiper-mod.html

both of these threads are for the second gen fit but both are cool on first gens too - i know i did both on my first gen and when i got my GE i did it again!
