UPDATE: My Fit was totaled..I didn't have any pain or stiffness!!..Insurance gave me 12K for it..I guess I'll have to replace it with a 2012 Vortex Blue Pearl 5 MT!! The search is on!!! See my Photobucket link below to view the pix of this sad story.

I am numb! My Fit was hit today...a driver in a Cadillac DTS sedan blew through an intersection & broadsided me at speed, and never stopped! Both side curtain & seat airbags deployed. Initially, I thought I could change the flat and drive the 1/2 block to my driveway. Upon removing the tire, I found out otherwise. Damages: Trashed left front fender/headlight, wheel and tire ( the wheel has a 3" hole on the inner side & the tire has one in the sidewall. The CV joint is broken and out of the transaxle, the front strut is bent and the control arm is broken as well. The front edge of the driver's door is impacted, side skirt is hanging loose. Front bumper cover broken, left fog light protruding. Amazingly, the Fit's crash protection came through again, as I am for the most part unhurt. I may be sore tomorrow, though. The insurance agent has told me that there is a strong possibility that it will be a total! 64,864 trouble free miles!!

Yeah you'll be sore tomorrow, take it from someone with experience.

Glad you weren't hurt, good luck finding the Fit you want, don't settle for anything less.
